This is not a “how to article,” it’s not a cookbook, a recipe, a workout manual, or a metaphysical spiritual health guide. There’s not going to be a beam of light at the end of this article that’s going to come through the computer and energize your chakra. No, it’s much more important than that. This is about a frog that climbs out of the witch’s cauldron and turns into a beautiful healthy being. This is the holistic transformation of myself.
My zombie stew transformation was a banquet of simmering death, blood, guts and gore. Being removed and out of touch with a healthy reality, I was overweight and out of shape with terminal depression, and that’s just the main course, not even counting snacks or dessert. Maybe we should all feel guilty about being a carrier and spreading this disease. Maybe society should accept its own commercial negligence from the negativity it creates. We as a society have been strip mining our own intelligence. We are hollowed out like some old copper mine that’s been left with all the pollutants and environmental devastation. Our core intellect of who and what we are as a species has been replaced with corporate fillers, processed commercialism and horrible misinformation and blatant lies, because they (big business) want you in their zombie stew. They feed it to you, they sell it to you, they create you and your body, and for years you’ve been simmering in their pot. Isn’t it time to change?
Is it possible to become a zombie, to become a walking dead, a crawler? Yes, and it’s very easy! We all know what a zombie is so I don’t have to explain to you what they are, but believe me, you can be bitten and infected and not even know it. I can check your kitchens and medicine cabinets and instantly find out if you are. It’s also easy to live and hang out with others that are also of the undead and not even know it. In most cases of zombieism, you are being egged on and encouraged by the zombie pack of the undead; your family, friends and workers can all be ‘biters’ and again, you may not even know it.
One of my favorite quotes that I wrote was, “My flaws are only skin deep, but my perfections go all the way to the bone.” When you’re a corpse-muncher (a non-vegetarian living on meats, dairy and processed foods) as I was, your flaws are going all the way to the bone and I mean literally, and more than likely to your family and children also.
Can the un-dead become the living? Can the frog escape the corporate witch’s pot? Can the soulless become enlightened again? Can the loveless and passionless be re-born, be resurrected? I have the answer. I know it’s not fair that a mere mortal should be empowered to have the answer, but I do.
After a near-fatal auto accident, I’m very lucky to be able to have another chance at a healthier path, a holistic, natural, healthy, plant-based vegan lifestyle.
For a few years after that accident and struggling with the medical professionals, I healed myself with a holistic approach. Sorry to burst your bubbles folks, but in my opinion, most (not all) of the medical professionals are mere cooks and mechanics, like a witch doctor brewing a pot of spells, they just throw in whatever the pharmaceutical companies tell them to. Adding chemicals that they themselves can’t even grasp or understand, that’s all they know. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve yet to see an ailment or condition with myself that couldn’t be radically improved or cured by a mostly (or entirely) organic, raw vegan diet & healthy lifestyle. So is that the answer? You bet it is!
I know! I’ve been to the “other side.” I’ve spent many years as a crawler, a roamer, a walker, an un-dead. I’ve been infected and survived. I’ve decapitated my zombieism with a holistic approach. You should think of this as a challenge for yourself or for anyone who thinks they’re living the best life, while settling for substandard food & lifestyle. They have no idea of just how great it can get. Give your mind and body the very best. It deserves it!
There are times when we are so inundated with negative energy, foods and thoughts. They become all we see and usually during those times we isolate ourselves, we become accustomed to eating poorly. Sure, maybe a change in diet & lifestyle won’t fix all your conditions, but I’d suggest you exhaust all those possibilities first!
For many years, I drowned myself in my zombie doubt, suffered from depression, regret, and fears. My body, soul and mind disowned me, physically and emotionally-I was a wreck. I munched Vicodin to wake me up, Ambien to go to sleep and booze and anxiety drugs to calm me down, or was it to calm up? I don’t remember.
However, I turned that around by going to coaches and flooding myself with positive thoughts, positive situations, positive people and most importantly, positive foods. “Your lifestyle loads the gun, but the food you eat pulls the trigger” and if you’re not eating right, you’re playing Russian roulette. Clean food is the fuel, the cleaner the fuel the better it burns, literally. I’m often asked what positive foods are? Think of it like Karma foods, what’s 100% good for you and the environment? When I say that, think animal kingdom-what’s good for them? It’s easy, don’t eat them! Love them, appreciate them, and respect them. Eat real foods, plants, vegetables and fruits. See the karma in this? Oh, and karma kills zombieism better than a hatchet.
I’ve adopted this karma vegan creed to live by:
- Eat only a plant-based diet.
- Respect my body and other life forms.
- Eat clean, live clean.
- Appreciate nature and be one with it.
- Maintain physical heath everyday.
- Think in terms of longevity for the sake of humanity.
- Embrace truth, love and respect for self and others.
- And wake up younger every day.
I am a Vegan and my stance is, “we’re all in this together.” I don’t see sides. I don’t see groups. I don’t see races or species. I only see the expression of life and I’ve dedicated my life to expressing that life.
At 56 years old, I feel amazing, healthy and young in mind, body and spirit. I am doing more things right now than I’ve ever been able to do and I’m doing it with grace, dignity, power and peace. I’m at an age where I deserve all the bragging rights I can get, and my hopes are that the Vegan power shines within you, my beloved brothers and sisters. Climb out of that zombie pot, a healthy freedom awaits.
