R. Taylor Scott, DO

Dr. Scott is Director of Pre-Clerkship Curriculum at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM), where he also maintains a practice as a Family Medicine Physician. He has Board Certifications in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment (OMT) and is President Elect for Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians (MAOFP). Dr. Scott is Dr. Craig’s primary care physician who has supported him for more than one and a half decades of his holistic healing journey, including the facing of possible death while in home hospice. When weather permits, Dr. Scott rides his Harley Davidson motorcycle to his home visits with Dr. Craig.

Dr. Scott has experience in medical education in both pre and post graduate settings, having served as Clinical Skills coordinator at MSUCOM as well as Internship Director at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Scott is appointed in the MSUCOM Department of Family and Community Medicine.  Dr. Scott has interests in the support of evaluation of healthcare professionals in a variety of fields and is especially interested in communication in healthcare. He has given presentations around the world.
